Rain...Always brings joy, awakens many moods, gives us many hopes......

A Rain Washed Evening

Golden silver droplets lining up the parapet wall
Hurrying to the edge to see who is the first to fall
An evening so beautiful, clear and bright
As though some one has just cleaned for a better sight

Golden rays of sun piercing through the clouds
Contouring everything it touches with shiny sparkling folds.
Letting out a vision so vivid and clear,
Mother nature comes out after a bath so pure.

The gentle cool breeze, swaying the trees
Making the leaves to giggle and sprinkle the water beads.
Birds are all around, enjoying the dazzling sun
Some singing, some preening, but sure, all are having fun.

Children are out on the clean washed streets,
Running around and over the puddles left by the rainy treats.
What a joy to walk down the lane enjoying the joyful screams
Of children so happy to be out in the sparkling serene streets.

Blissful light pouring out of the golden cup midst the fluffy clouds
Falling on my face rendering a mild warmth in the cool breeze
The evening so pure, vibrant and crystal clear
Giving every one hopes for a night full of gleam and cheer.
