Protein bars and dry fruits like cashewnut, almonds ,pista and raisins are easily consumable at any place. Puffed rice or poha soaked in milk is the soft and light food at the time urgent hunger. Vegetables like carrot, tomatoes and cucumber are crunchy, juicy and tasty & can reduce the hunger prangs Nuts like groundnuts, fried channa dal, dried channa are the great foods to compliment your hungry stomach. Sugar candy, sweets or bars made with jaggery, sweet corn,cold milk, fruit juices are also helpful to fight the hunger. Biscuits can also be added to this list, but better avoid as many contain large amounts of Maida (Refined flour) Snacks items mostly are deep fried in oil. So, better avoid oil foods. Items like noodles, pre packed foods, chocolates, ice creams cannot be included if one is in the way of reducing weight or highly diet conscious. Know the food, good food make happy living !
