Pretty Flowers from waste bottles

What do we do with empty Mineral-Water bottles and soft drinks ( plastic) bottles ? Throw them into the dustbin, ofcourse ! Before that, cut off the bottoms. They can become pretty plastic flowers like this ! No pattern cutting, no moulding , no hassle. Just cut and paint . Ta -daa ! Beautiful flowers ready for using in decorations as you like it !

Note : cut into thin slice . You can give shape to petals if you want by snipping near the lines. As it is also is fine.

You can decide which side of the disc you want as "up" side. Then paint the reverse side ( "down" side) so that the finish is nice.

I use Acrylic paint - Fabric paints. Thick with no diluting. Pearly colours come out very nice.
Add a button or bead for center.

 

This idea I saw in " Pinterest.". From that time, like crazy, I keep cutting and collecting plastic bottle bottoms!

Its so interesting and after painting, it becoms so pretty, you feel so proud of it ! I used some flowers on a gift box recently and the person liked them more than the gift ! LOL !
