Pregnancy Diet

    Hi

    I am pregnant.( first baby)
    During pregnancy gaining weight is normal.
    In my case, I'm gaining 16 kilo (now 24 weeks pregnant)
    No thyroid and sugar . other test are normal.
    Pressure is little increase ( l don't know why)
    I'm having leg pain.
    Doctor suggest, maintain a healthy diet and complete rest.
    In my scan report my baby is good.

    Already I'm a fat girl and now gaining weight more.
    At the same, I want to track my healthy diet and take care of my life (my baby).
    Doctor suggest what to eat and not to eat foods.

    I'm also having negative people thought environment.
    It makes me uncomfortable
    I'm handling smile and silent way ( simply say will follow ur suggestion)
    My parent and life partner is always feed me positive ways.

    Now a days I'm not able sleep at night.
    My mind full of thoughts.

    Kindly guide and help me friends.
    Your guidance make me strong and always stay in positive.

    I want to share my food list with you.
    Not for losing weight.
    Maintain a health.

    My new life beginning with my baby (blessing of god).

    I don't have any suggestion but I like to say when I got pregnant first time, I gained nearly 20 kg . I was in my moms place from my fourth month. I didn't realize I gained lot of weight. I think first pregnancy we all gain more weight than second Bcoz we think we should eat more for baby and also we are pampered more by mom and relatives. I am not saying gaining more weight is good but in first pregnancy it happens.
    You can try eating in small portions in different intervals. You can take more veggies than rice n chappathi. Try going for a walk when time permit. I walked 1 hour in Mrg and 1/2 HR in eve in my first pregnancy but in this pregnancy I became lazy taking care of household chores,elder one and winter season. Eat healthy and enjoy this period.

    Hi..everything has been nicely explained by @deepthivinayak1
    I would just like to add that early morning walk up until 9 am is extremely beneficial as early morning sunlight helps in synthesizing Vit.D in the body.
    Please keep negativity at bay. Watch knowledge-increasing programs on tv...listen to good discourses as per your religious beliefs...take care of and water trees and plants. These activities makes mind peaceful.

    I am taking water, coffee, breakfast,tea/fruits,lunch,tea and dinner.

    You can have coffee,small portion bf, fruit/ nuts/ dates, half portion lunch, sprouts or other half portion lunch, early dinner, milk. Drink lots of water.

    Instead of tea, try taking juice with milk and milk in night. 5 dosai in night is bit much. U can reduce and have something else.
