    help!!!

I had my second kid in July 2016. Via c section. I had been begging for a tubal ligation along with the c section but my husband started joking with the nurse that don’t I need another kid and so the surgeon said they need both parents conscent before going ahead with it.

So I did not get it done.

Then after arguing a lot I got him to get a vasectomy in dec 2018. He did not go for a follow uP to check sperm count.

Problem now is I got my period on sepT 23, had *** on October 1. And now I am already having nausea. I’m afraid I might be pregnant!!

If I am pregnant what is the best course of action to terminate it?

If I’m not pregnant I will give a million thanks to god. But how do I avoid a surprise in the future. I could get mirena but that is not permanent. Doctor said since I had lots of scarring I cannot go through any more surgeries.

How do I prevent another pregnancy 100%.?????????

    Hi,
If you had last period on sep 23, ideally ovulation will be some time this week. Even if you had an early ovulation, i think it's too early for pregnancy symptoms.
Instead of panicking, try taking a pregnancy test. Once you know what's going on, talk to your doctor about most suitable way of contraception for you.

Was it done in the no-scalpel method? Or.. the old-fashioned way?
Did you do a concerned/curious wife daily check ?
How long before it healed ?

At the risk of sounding snarky the only 100% foolproof method to avoid pregnancy is to take a vow of celibacy.

Contrary to what you have heard, marital abstinence is a well-reasoned behavior.

If you are living in America, and eager for information on how to control spousal urges, keep telling him about the costs, and that would shrivel up that reason you had mentioned: source
Raising a child isn't cheap. The price tag (in today's dollars) for a baby born in 2015: about $233,610 from birth through age 17 for a middle-income family, and about $372,210 for a family in the highest income bracket,1 says the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). And guess what? That doesn't include college. For a 4-year public school, you'd need to add $83,080 (in today's dollars) to the total bill—$187,800 for a private school, according to the College Board. 2

That reminded me of your friend's hubby who went to Amsterdam recently and came back on October 1st. He must have calculated how many vacation breaks to Amsterdam he could take for a quarter million dollars that he could save by Abstinence at home.

In the old day, prior to *Carl Djerassi's contribution to women's health, abstinence was the choice for good girls. The US Department of Ag.'s annual projections, although not designed as anti-aphrodisiacs, do a good job among the educated, well-informed people of the country. The mass of people who'd never heard of it, go on to risky behaviors, and get punished for it.

*Carl Djerassi has been called "The Father of The Pill" -- a devilishly clever dig too in naming someone "the father" for his life's work on Steroidal Hormones, much of which went on to frustrate attempts "to father" :smirkcat::smirkcat:
