Plese beware of Jothi stores. My mixie stopped working last month and I went to Mustafa to buy a new one. I had selected Preethi Blue Leaf and the price was $95. But there was no stock and I could not buy it. 2-3 days later, I happened to go to Little India and I thought if I could check if Jyothi stores fo mixie. The same Preethi Blue Leaf mixie was quoted to me for $180. Double the cost!! I got confused whether I saw the prices wrong in Mustafa.. Anyway I came without buying and then bought it in Mustafa the next week for the same $95.. So please double check the costs before buying in Jyothi Stores.. I dont know if it is a stray incident which happened with me or if the shop is regularly over priced but it does not hurt to check with a couple of places.
Yes, they are generally overpriced. Everything is 2/3 times the other places in Singapore. Last time I bought some bodylotion which is 3 times the cost in other places.
