    Hello All.....ausum to see you all on this forum. would love to know each other and enlarge my frnd circle through this media. We r planning to move in portland/ beaverton.much of info i hv already got through this forum. but will some one tell me about the year round weather? google has mixed reveiws...is it always rainy and gloomy? is it depressing for whole 9 months? and wht abt the allergies?

    Hii Saratha.... we r planning to move in Portland/ beaverton. I hv already posted two replies on IL. will you pls go throught it? we really dnt know anyone in portland. will be greatful if u assist me. Alsoi tried to reach u out through ur blog but its not opening at all.

    No regrets for moving to portland! I love this place! It's a boon!! There r enough indian markets n there will be mexican stores...I haven't explored any in particular since all the stores here have all the Mexican requirements full filled!
    Climate is something to live and enjoy! We won't be stuck in drastic weather conditionslike east coast... mostly portland will have drizzles for which it is popular for...
    We will have few snow showers just the right amt to enjoy after which it will vanish!
    U will get to taste all 4 seasons HERE!!

    Since it's fall now, would suggest rain proof jackets! Shopping for winter gears isn't that tough! All the good stores happen to sell weather appropriate clothing when the season is on! Major stores from Costco to kohls...all have rain,winters wears now!
