    Ingredients:

    8 ripe plums

    12 raisins

    Sugar to taste

    A pinch of salt

    A pinch of haldi powder

    ½ tablespoon mustard oil

1 teaspoon pachforan (mustard seeds, cumin seeds, black cumin seeds, fennel seeds and fenugreek seeds)

    ½ teaspoon red chilli powder

    Method:

Boil the plums in a little water. After cooling, deseed them.

Then boil again and add sugar depending on how sweet the plums are. Add haldi, salt, chill powder and let it simmer.

Then add the raisins. In the concoction has become to thick, add a little water and boil.

Heat mustard oil in a frying pan. Season it with pachforan.

Simmer again. Cool a bit and serve.

This chutney can be kept in the fridge for a week.
