These days I have oats or cornflakes for breakfast...But within 1-2 hours I feel tired, hungry and dizzy...Dosa , idli and upma are quite tasty and filling but feel bored to have only these again and again...So Pls suggest items for breakfast which are easy to make, nutritious and also fill up the stomach for long time..

    Hi,

If you like, you can include fruits, nuts in oats or cornflakes along with milk. Along with the food items you mentioned, I also make bread toast with egg, bread upma, paniyaram, ragi semiya, sevai/idiyappam, etc.

Chillbreeze has given very good options.Adding to that...Try Rava Kesari with nuts ,dry fruits and fruits. I do not use sugar at all.The fruits/dry fruits gives it the required sweetness. You can try with wheat rava and sooji rava. Rava Idli,Dal dosas, Pancakes with wheat, Pongal( sweet and spice ones) etc are another few.

If you are a non-vegetarian, you can have an egg on toast. Add some fresh fruit juices to your breakfast menu.

Sancdwich with cheese and meat if you are a non vegetarian could be really filling. Make sure that the bread is full corn, maida bread is empty calories. You can also probably use mustard/ ketchup and sprinkle paprika/coriander/basil etc to the loaves before sandwiching

You can make different types of chutneys to go with your upma, dosa, idli, uttapams. That can also make the entire breakfast delicious.

How about besan cheelas Besan Ka Cheela Recipe - How To Make Besan Ka Cheela - Besan Ka Cheela Receipe? Am sure you will love this.

Have a continental style breakfast once or twice a week for a change. In this breakfast, you can have cereals, fruits, pancakes, toast with butter/jam.
