For the past two years, I have been using RunKeeper apps to measure my walking speed. It tells me once in three or five minutes, the average and current speed of my walking.

For reasons not known to me, this apps behaves erratically. Tells the speed as 23.5 km /hour when I walk at 5 km/ hour. I have uninstalled it and re-installed the latest version and have installed all its updates.

Yet, it tells the speed of walking erratically.

What apps do you guys use to measure the speed of walking apart from RunKeeper ?

I could not find a proper one by searching in Google Play Store of my Android phone.

    Please help..........!

i use accupedo. reasonably fine. you can't have exact readings unless you have it attached to your body all the time.

the best part is my fitnesspal has now introduced syncing accupedo and few more apps, for the daily workout excercises part too.

    Buddy,

If you are using an android powered smartphone rather than trying these useless apps ,

try wearable fitness band as it comes with integrated sensors ,it can give accurate results

Compare Activity Trackers/Fitness Bands - Smart Watch News check out here.

If you are using iphone then go with Nike fuel band

    goodluck

    Hi Sridevi & Shanvy,

Do you need to keep your mobile data on, for Accupedo to work ?
