Hello friends, I want to arrange a dinner party sometime next month for a group of about 7-8 people. I am not very good at arranging dinners if there are more than 2 guests i usually end up doing stuff till the last moment and a lot of things become unmanageable. This time there is a group of about 7-8 people whom I want to invite. Please suggest a menu, north Indian, along with appetizers and desserts. My guests include few young guys also who will have a good appetite so I need to cook good amount of food. Please suggest some dishes in main course that can be cooked the night before so that I will have ample time for cooking and cleaning remaining things on the day of the dinner party. Also please share some tips on home decor and how to keep guests entertained.
Dear OP Dont get stressed, you can handle it very well. some tips from my end: - Plan a simple and easy to make menu. - Include one large quantity Entree, preferrably any rice item with raita and any curry as side dish (you can prep before night) with ordered rotis/naans - Make 2 appetizers(pakoda or baked frozen samosa or cauliflower/cabbage fritters) and 1 dessert (gulab jamoon/kheer/carrot halwa) and icecream - you can also arrange some beverages To entertain guests: - select a movie with common language or - Any sport on TV
