Places to Visit In and around KL

Hi,

If any of u have been to any exotic places/parks/beaches then please share the info on this thread......it might benefit someone:

1. Aquaria - for tourist its 35 rm n for residents its 25 for adults ......worth a vist surely

2. Bird Park - 44 rm if im not mistaken, worth a trip if kids r bird lovers u can even feed them n take a pic with them for 15 rm

3. Deer Park - Entry free there isnt much except a few mouse deer n deers there is also a cousin from the comodo dragon family.....can try it once

4. Orchid Park - opposite bird park, no tags on flowers or plants so just worth a look not much info u gain but lovely fountain n beautiful flowers

5. Butterfly park - adult 18 rm n child is 8 rm worth going as there are turtles n other insects also along with butterflies.....there is an info room which has lotsa info on insects from neighbouring countries

All i can help with as of now....will post of more as i know n experience....meanwhile if u have any info to share pls do

Another hindu religious place (more like a tourist place) is batu caves....if u wud like to do ur infants moondan (shaving off hair of birth) it is done there it is 272 steps to reach the temple n is a very pleasing experience....must do

The aquazone next to aquaria is the fish spa it is really worth a try once....30 min of doctor fish nibbling on ur feet cost is 38 myr.

Hello Friends,

I was there this saturday & it was the most beautiful saturday i spent in KL ....please find the time n inclination to visit this place its a humbling experience, help in any way is appreciated & the kids are simply adorable...

Sinthamani Divine Life Ashram No 1112, Block J56 Lorong 5/16 Kawasan A, Rumah Panjang, Jinjang Utara 52000 KL.

The kids are age 1 to 14 n they all are so sweet u wont want to leave them sooon. Please take clothes, food or drinks or anything that u can think of will help kids.

Some of us have kids who pass the year of school n then there are old books completly unused or in good condition, they will make a gud use of it in their library.

It is a must visit trip just a 20 min drive from KL n worth the visit:thumbsup

Hey,

Genting Highland is approx 32 kms away and its a lovely drive.....amazing scenic mountians on both sides of the road, the place is amazing in terms of weather & if u have awesome friends like we did (4 families went together) then there is no derth of things u can have fun in, there are lots of rides catering to a lot of ages, indoor theme park n outdoor theme park both are nice n its difficult to have experience all of it in one visit so plan multiple trips with freind sn family:thumbsup

Weather is cooler than in KL so please carry warm clothing esp in dec it was freezing cold:thumbsup

Around 130 kms plus is the place called melaka which has a resort called a famosa....they have packages for the family whichc include the carnival & animal safari ticket costing approx 150 myr also the drive is worth coz its 2.5 hours of scenic views on both sides......the resort is in simpang ampat to be precise another hour drive is melaka town where we went to the jonker's walk, similar to the china town n it was amazing due to christmas as there were shows as well, its a lovely walk if u have ur walking shoes on n loads of things to shop for:thumbsup

Around 360 kms plus is Singapore, the drive is amazing its extremly scenic n beautiful......lots of rest areas after 10 kms to have breaks for food (lots of food courts), it is a straight drive. Travelling within singapore is also convenient if u have ur own car else their public transport is anyway one of the best:thumbsup

We had an amazing holiday the second time after 5 yrs in singapore, there are lots of tourism places as the country relies heavily on tourism, its a safe n beautiful country
