    Hi Madhuri,

Last week we had been to Bushkill Falls PA, it was worth the visit. Its been named as "Niagara of Pennsylvania". Indeed It was very relaxing and beautiful. Our Family loved it,
U have to do lot of Walking on the trails though. But its Fun
If u have an infant or a toddler less than 2yrs old, it will be little hectic, coz u need to walk a lot and has lots of ups & downs. So Comfortable Clothing and shoes is a Must.

There are also 2 temples nearby(within 25 miles)
Shringeri Vidhya Foundation and Arsha Vidya Gurukulam.... both these temples are very beautiful and very divine.

If u plan it well u can visit Shringeri Temple by Afternoon where u can have Mahaprasadam around 12 noon - 2 pm and then proceed to Bushkill Falls .
U can spend almost 4-5 hrs there and can visit a Flea market around it.
By evening u can plan for Arsha vidhya Gurukulam and there u can also have ur Dinner by 7 pm.

This was very nice trip since we don't have to carry lot of food stuffs with us, Meanwhile u get to eat homely cooked Food too:crazy.

    Do give it a try!

Yes we too liked bushkill falls.

In virginia u can go to luray caverns, virginia beach, shenandoah valley, there are lots of trails, hiking, waterfalls /scenic spots.
chespeake bridge is good. there is a temple ,d ont remember the name.

in maryland u can visit the baltimore aquarium/boating and dolphin shows.
near maryland and Dc there are is great falls, which is also scenic.
there are few temples in DC too.

    Hi Anitha,

We had been to Bushkill falls last summer(maybe same time last year), My family loved it. its a good place for one day trip. From Phily its 1.5 hrs drive and as mentioned above we covered those 2 temples also in our program.

U will need some 3-4 hrs for Bushkill falls, we reached around 2 in the noon and were done by 6 PM. If u wish to take the longest trail its takes 2 hrs and u can literally go very close to the falls. We opted for the medium one which was 1.25 hrs and with lots of stopovers in between. Apart from that u do have some scenic place to relax around as well as a Huge Flea market before u reach this place.

Do ask me if u need anymre info

Anitha, are u talking about the Long wood Gardens in PA? If so u cannot cover both in a day. Since Longwood garden will take mfin o 4-5 hrs of walking and the distance between 2 more.

U will have to do them Separately, But both places are worth a visit.
