    good one ANI
according to ayurveda, there are four types of tastes,
    salty, sweet, sour and bitter.
having all four types keeps our body and its working in balance. and methi/fenugreek is the bitter one, the least used one. We need this too.
I simply chop some leaves and add to rotis, as base while making curry for a dish, as dried leaves (kasuri methi) , and offcourse the muthias and the methi-malai matar...yummmmm

    Hi Florance,
Do regular exercises & eat healthy diet. This will help you in PCOD.
Coming to your query: Soaking fenugreek seeds in water over night & drink the water in the morning is preferable. Not necessary to consume the soaked seeds.
If you are not able to tolerated the taste, consume fresh seeds.
    Hope this helps...

I'm late here. My friend had pcos and gave this medicine. Moringa seed powder (murungai vidhia podi) with milk or honey in mornings and night before food. She conceived within two months. I'm having the same, Atleast my messed up cycle got better last month.

Give it a try. Hope it works for you.

Its not necessary that the one who has PCOS should suffer while trying for a baby. It depends on the body conditions. There are many who succeed in TTC before they know about PCOS.
Check out the hormonal imbalance which comes with PCOS, if its fine & your body is free from other disturbing stuffs, then you can conceive naturally without any medical aid.

Work on your weight if you are over-weight. Eat less carbohydrate food.
    Take care.

Weight of 57 to your height seems to be good. Try to maintain the same weight or reduce a little.
Do regular exercise, may be walking will do. Eat healthier foods, more fruits, veggies, greens will do!

Do you have insulin resistance? Most people wil have this along with PCOS.
What is your gynecs suggestion for your PCOS conditions? If there are any, follow it!

    Take care.

    Thanks for the reply again.

what do mean by insulin resistance? I am not sure abt it. I just had ultrasound done and the report came out to be PCOS.

My gyneac told that as long as i have my mensus and i donot gain weight then it should be fine..i am not on any medication as i was not planning for a baby.

Now planning for TTC so I need to visit her again.

    Thanks,
    Pandu
