Hi people.I am a new member in IL community and happy to be a part of it. I live in bangalore and might move to Netherlands anytime this year. I have pcos and hypothyroid.I am taking 50mcg of eltroxin.I started my journey of follicular study in nov 2013 and did around 4 cycles.None of them clicked.
.Post marriage i had gained some 10 kilos.I am unable to reduce.I am going to gym.I am trying to bring in all possible life style changes. But its very difficult to bring down that 10 kilos. My DH was detected with low count and he is taking medicines and reports says its normal now.Its been a while i saw my gynec. I live with my inlaws. I dont know if its because of stress or joint family setup i am unable to conceive. When i hear stories of newly married girls getting pregnant i really go low.

Have heard metformin has impact on PCOS women within few months of taking. But i have been taking it for ten months.Only positive thing that has happened is my periods got regularized. So fellow ILites can you help me?
I am yet to go for another follecular study.Rather i am afraid
i dont know if i can conceivethinkingsmiley naturally.as i said i might move to netherlands heard follecular study is very costly there

    Hi OP,
Metformin works if you have insulin resistance. All those having pcos need not have insulin resistance, have you got a glucose tolerance test done? Also doctors are divided abt the use of metformin to treat pcos. Since you are gonna be travelling out of the country, I would recommend visiting an infertility specialist to get a clearer picture. Then based on your age you can decide if you want to start treatment immediately or try naturally.
Yes loosing weight is difficult with pcos but you have to keep working till u get the combination of exercise and diet that works for you. I have pcos too and yoga helped me a lot. Its a more hollistic method and can help you deal with stress. Regarding inlaws and stress, if you cant change that situation then its best to work around it and focus only on whats important for you right now. All the best to you!

Oh there are lots of specialists in bangalore. I went to Dr Madhuri Patil and conceived on my 3rd iui. Ive heard of others in this forum going to Sure Fertility, AFC Jp nagar and Ankur fertility centre. Choose one that is preferably close to ur home or work place. If you have a gynac u could ask her for a recommendation.
