My pudhayal is empty at the moment!!! I'll post when it starts getting filled up again!
And, it is not Pan leaf, it is beatle-nut leaf - the hard fruit which people take along with paan. I have seen some crafts made of paddy. I did not have paddy (dried) near by, but had beatle nut plant in our house, which sheds dry leaves. I dried it more to season it properly and cut it finely to make it

Dear Kalayni such beautiful works you have done and shared I liked the first one better as it is much more difficult, and how the leave preseve its color--or you paint over it ---it was amzaing and beautiful too congrats
