    Dear Sudha,ramvino,Sabarimathi,vchintaravi,harina,Sritas saheli,shippsand ganges thank you very much,Iattaced the patces with invisible hem stich, if you use fabric glue on silk material stains willbe formed on other materials when you wash stains vanish.

    thx for the explanation. I've yet another doubt. Pls clarify me. Did u use an invisible thread for invisible hem stitch , like the ones we get in USA ? Pls excuse my ignorance here. How can the hem stitch be strong enough to hold a patch?

    dear sabarimathi ,invisiblestich means Ihave hidden the stiches near the edge of the patch ,you have to pullthe thread little tight then stiches will go under the patches, if you use polyster thread that will be strong enough to hold the patch//?
