Paneer -expiry date

    Hello everyone,

    I bought haldirams paneer last week,expiry date shows best before 09/15 , but in the instructions it says to use within 21 days if it stored in the refrigerator below 5 deg Celsius and once it is opened use within 5 days , wht do they actually mean? Can anyone tell me?

    Hi Rangetha

    Paneer if stored under continuous refrigeration lasts up to 9/15. But once got from stores, opened and using causes paneer exposure to air which may result in bacterial growth. Hence they said that use before 21 days.
