This song has so many memories associated with it.
I was always very close to my uncle. He had taken me to the railway station to drop my aunt off when we saw a huge crowd, big tankers and a buzz that "shooting nadithide".
That's the first time I saw "rain being made" for the movies.

I was a little kid and my uncle took me to go see the "hero". He was kind of snobbish but the pretty girl with straight hair let me touch her hair and asked me
my name. Amala was probably a teenager herself but she was so good to me. I think my life long love of straight hair started that night.

Oh and it was a cold night. I remember because after they turned on the rain and shot a sequence, her teeth chattered and she shivered. She was in a sleeveless dress and tried to dry herself and warm herself with a towel around her shoulders only to be put under the rain again. It went on and on and we left but then when the song came on TV I knew which station that was

 

Now that's what's making me cry. I don't even want to watch.
I think my mind is 75% made up. Undecided voters have such a hard time
coming up with a good candidate.
