    1) For storing items in the kitchen cupboards I have switched entirely to OXO Pop storage containers. The different sizes are suitable for almost everything.
    ttps://www.amazon.com/OXO-10-Piece-Airtight-Storage-Container/dp/B00D78XB6M/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1526144956&sr=8-5&keywords=oxo+pop

    2) I have cabinet divider shelves like these to maximize storage:
    https://www.amazon.com/Grayline-40916-Adjustable-Cabinet-Helper/dp/B008SEYD1C

    3) To store frying pans this type of holder is very useful:
    https://www.amazon.com/SimpleHouseware-Kitchen-Cabinet-Pantry-Organizer/dp/B01K07MZPK/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_201_bs_t_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=963R1QZB6D7JM27XPC4N&dpID=51x2RAM%2BkYL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=detail

    4) For little jars and odds and ends I have something like this:
    https://www.amazon.com/Standing-EZO...pID=51jEi7lbxaL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

    5) I use these for storing flour in the kitchen:
Storage Buckets at King Arthur Flour

    6) To store large bags of rice in the pantry I have these. I keep the rice in its original bag but this makes for airtight storage:
    https://www.amazon.com/IRIS-Premium...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=T2QEH1T2ACPXT3D23H2D

    7) These come in handy to store onions, garlic, sweet potato, tomatoes and potatoes:
Amazon.com: Seville Classics Mesh Stacking Bin (2-Pack), Large: Home & Kitchen

    8) I don't have space for a pantry in the kitchen but if you do consider getting an Elfa or Elfa-type storage system. It really helps use space efficiently. Container Store has 30% off Elfa sales periodically.

    9) For fridge and freezer storage I have a variety of bins like these, particulary for small items:
    https://www.amazon.com/Sorbus-Organ...pID=618MGGuRjZL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch
    https://www.amazon.com/Sorbus-Organ...pID=618MGGuRjZL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

    10) To store coriander and fresh herbs I just put a paper towel into the bag and change it once or twice. But I try to use them within a couple of days. I plant a few pots of mint every summer.

    11) Summer time usually brings pantry moths, so I place these traps in every cupboard and around the kitchen:
    https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Killigans...=1526146606&sr=1-1&keywords=pantry+moth+traps

The Container Store is my favorite place to look for storage inspiration but they are quite expensive so I end up buying from Amazon or BBB.

Why confused? Namagoo adigemane chennagi gotthu madam (we too know kitchen well )

Majority of famous chefs here are males. Gordon Ramsay, Wolfgang Puck, Anthony Bourdain, Mario and so on.

Even in historic times, you must have heard Nala paaka, Bheema paaka etc. But why no Damayanti or Droupadi paaka:)? Probably cooking expert women like you, Geetha, Nandini didn’t exist then! Jokes apart, my mom involved us in kitchen duties from childhood, so we learnt some tricks of the trade.

@MalStrom , very useful compilation. Thanks.
