    Perhaps those more familiar with the technique will have suggestions to improve your skills. I have no skills in this are but I do like how you've use the yellow and red to highlight the orchids and leaves differently.

    priya having been following your progress here, liked your attempt very much (you know i am trying to learn the new techniques to help DD).

    what looks glaring for me is the siggy that could have been more artistic and blend into the painting.. and not so bold..(i could be wrong too)

    and i feel a mellowed yellow/red would highlight the pink orchids beauty ( i love these orchids) or a little darker shade of pink...

    again this is amateurish observation...take it sportively..and way to do.. are you going to follow the same these.. and make 3 more..if so don't change anything...
