Thanks tuffyshri. In fact if I had stressed the physical relationship this story would not have attracted this much attention. I happened to meet the editor of the paper in a function recently. He told me that he loved the story and that he could not get the story off his mind.
In today's world there is very good scope for cross gender friendships and there's always the risk of crossing the limits. I've known many cases. This story is just a warning to those people.

Though it is immoral a mere physical relationship is easy to break off. But emotional relationships occupy the mind and won't let us do any other work. It will interfere with all the relationships we have in our life.

At the same time we can't deny the fact that cross gender relationships provide the much needed solace to many, especially to those whose marriages have failed.
