Its true that they learn by watching parents and sometimes I am afraid every child is born perfect and goes on acquiring imperfections as it grows!!

All babies cry when they are hungry and drink milk without any force when they are hungry... but the same babies when they grow up and become children become lazy to eat food, drink milk and so on!!

My daughter is 7 years old now and she is definitely an angel. But when I look back at a timeline when she was around 1 year old
She was more bold and happy
she would share everything without being told
she was not afraid of dark
she would eat anything I fed her without making fuss
She never lied, she did not know what is ' to lie'

But now few things have changed, so i wonder whether we are responsible, the society or its definitely a part of growing up.

As of now few basic things I have taught and trying to teach my child are

    1. to be honest
    2. to believe in god
    3. to love and respect all family members which she does more than me!!
    4. to feel free to do what she likes, swimming, cycling, playing with friends, feeding birds so on and so forth. I avoid to tell 'dont do that, dont do this' as much as possible, as long as she is not doing anything bad.
    4. Not to waste food, always take less serving when you are not sure of the taste
    5. keep things especially toys back to its place
6.no cheating while playing, even if others do
    7. To read books, I think that will really help her a lot.

    Hai!!!!!!!!

Though i don't have kids yet, god's grace hoping to have one soon..... i would always want my child to abide by Indian culture, i always pray God to give me the strength to teach him/her about our culture, since we are abroad children and in schools here, they forget our culture, our languages, respect to elders.

Education starts from home and children learn from elders. So lead an exemplary life to your children

Sharing and expressing feelings and emotions is what I encourage in my son. I believe this builds trust and whatever kind of situation may come in their life, they will know to trust their near ones and handle thier emotions and situations more maturely.
