    Hi,
    I have taught my children 1) Honesty-Always be honest and never lie as to save yourself from a lie you have to remember the lie and every time tell a new lie. So always be honest and never fear the the anger and scoldings that come along with the honesty.

    2) Always own up your mistakes as it saves a lot of trouble. You will face anger only once.
    3) Always see that water and electricity and money are never wasted anywhere as it a waste for the nation.
    4) It is more important to get a thing done than to do it with perfection.

    The one value which I want my kids would follow is respect . They should learn to respect every human being and I will try to get connected with our moral and spiritual values.

    Some small things I teach to my kids.

    Respect elders and others feelings. Never hurt others.
    Have faith on God and pray before going to bed.
    Play while play and Study while study. Both are required for the wholesome growth.

    Honesty, integrity and faith (religious) are some basic values that I teach my little kids all the time.

    Staying patience and hardworking till we get it is something I teach them by living as an example.

    I won't give everything that they ask, although they are available and within their affordable range. Instead, I teach them the value of earning to have something for us.

    I also teach them to be clean and hygienic.

    Little by little my kids also learn to respect others, compromise for others and adapt to a new life/place with utmost flexibility.

    My kids are only 4 yrs and 1.5 years now. But they have a great level of maturity at this very young age.

    I have college going daughter and school going son..

    To both of them i always tell;
    education excellence only will not make you shine; your socialization, quick reaction, team work are other requisites.

    Be helpful to others and try to learn at least a new thing.
