Hi Ladies, I am staying in Al Nahda area in Sharjah and looking for a good day care and nursery for my 1.5 year old son. I visited a few like destination point, al nahda nursery (opp to destination point) and al tareq skill development centre. Since Al tareq is not providing transportation I am ruling out that option. Really need your reviews on destination point, Al Nahda nursery and Kids world nursery. Ladies would appreciate if I can get some responses from you. Thanks in advance.
Hi. I am also planning to join my 2 yr 10 months kid into nursery. AL nahda nursery is in walkable distance for us. But I am looking for other options too. Pls let me know if u join ur kid in any other nurseries near to our place. I will consider those. Thank you.
I heard good reviews about cubby Cheeks near to Sahara Center. But it us not suitable for us to join my kid as I can not walk till that point. I should go in taxi only. I am interested in transportation as my kid is too small
HI My daughter is going to Destination Point last 1 year . I am happy with them . They teach them to write , dance , new rhymes other than same old ones. I am really happy with the dance they teach . Afternoon day care also good they have proper nannies to take care of the kids . Never faced any issues with them still now . They provide transportation too . Pavi
Destination Point is the worst. Please don't put your child there. In my case, my infant daughter contracted Amobic infection from there bcoz nannies were mixing tap water along with milk powder. This was confirmed by my older child who saw this as her school bus was dropping her at destination point. Furthermore, i don't know happened as my daughter was wheezing and coughing badly, whether they left her in high AC. And they are not wiling to listen. The owner Jyoti Adkulu is very arrogant and high handed and totally money minded. I made a mistake by putting my children there. Spent 1500 Dhs for just 5-6 days of bad experience and damage to health in the case of my younger daughter, as doctor says, this asthamic breathing and cough will not go away. I suggest that you be careful and do not choose a daycare, especially for babies.
And kids world nursery is not good, bad smell comes from toilets and house flies are there inside the nursery. I did not join my kid there.
Hi Ladies, Sorry for late post, I stopped tracking the thread as I couldn't get any reply for days. I got my son enrolled in Al Nahda Nursery, my son went there for a month for initial few days they were not telling me that he cries a lot and would not even let me see him from outside. they have closed doors policy which I dislike...after three weeks they told that your son cries a lot for whole day...its unbearable...so I discontinued it. He was not going to any nursery until recently, I sent him to a nursery in India for a month and he was loving it..was not getting fever or cold unlike here...he was falling ill every week. Now he turned two, so I wish to start his nursery again here in Dubai, so appreciate your feedback on the nurseries nearby, two new preschools have opened up in the area..Dalia Nursery and al Mina nursery...I am yet to check them. Kindly let me know if any of your kids are going in Al Nahda, kids world or any nursery here. Also is it a good idea to send to some nursery like little feet where I need to send him in bus, cnsidering the fact that he is two years old only. Pls Pls respond ladies. Thanks
Hi bj05, Did you enroll your son in any nursery. I am a qualified teacher, running a home playschool here. April batch is about to begin. If you are interested, you can send your kid to me. Location: Al Nahda, Sharjah - Baqer Mohebi Supermarket Building Contact: 050- 4365564
