Firstly introduce yourself- we can get to know about each others likes, dislikes, strength, weekness, goal, target etc.
secondly write on - why do you want to lose weight.
    How you can do?

Let me start about myself - i am 42 years with two kids, now they are independent - so have enough time in hand for workout, cook for myself, weighing 71 kg need to reduce atleast 15 kg but taking small steps as my metabolism has decreased. I like walking, but having muscle syndrome, so walking, jogging is restricted.Joined aerobics. I like this to the core. Not interfering with my leg pain.My weekness is pracrastination, lazy.

I definitely want to lose weight - one due to medical reason. Next is i want my old clothes back.
First step is doing work out 5 days a week with clean diet for 5 days(no sweet and no fried). Drinking enough water.I dont want to take this weight loss most complicated. Making it simple though its not easy.

Hi all, :hello: I would love to join in too.
Back after a long vacation to Chennai along with the inevitable weight gain, and now it is time to get fit.

Intro - I am 44 and have two kids. Like Sujata, have a bit more time for myself now. Till I turned 41-42 there was no weight issues, I kinda maintained the weight as I was at 20. I started going to a gym since 40 as I seemed to get flabby - but here were breaks of sometimes 1-2 months and injuries too. Last couple of years I have had to watch my food , otherwise I put on weight easily.
    Now my goals descending order
    - Lose 2-3 inches off my tummy
    - weight loss 2 kgs
    - tone muscles
    - build more stamina

My challenges are my love for sugar and snacking after 9pm. My waist hip ratio is baaad and and have tense neck shoulder which leads to headaches and disrupts my life.

So come Monday I will start
Eat clean food - no fried, no processed food and occasional desert before 5pm
Dinner before 7.30 pm ( 7 is hard as I reach home from work around 7pm)
No food after dinner- exception small serving of fruit (please)
    Exercise - per week
    3 hours cardio
    3 hours yoga/pilates
    70,000 steps
Avoid prolonged sitting - not more than 90mins at a stretch
Use standing laptop station at home
