For some people their friends keep nicknames. The following are the nicknames which I have come across. Mr. Ganapathi is called as Patti Ganapathy. Patti is grandmother. His mother was 105 years old when she died. She was active till the end. Another Ganapathy is called Kambodi Ganpathy because when he sings for bhajan he sings Kambodi ragam. My husband is P.Parameswaran Iyer and in short he has kept his name as P.P.Iyer. So everyone call him PP which also means nadaswaram. There is a caterer who is called Karutha Raman . Mr. Viswanathan is called Karadi Viswanathan as he was dark. Mr. Krishnan is called Dr. Krishnan as he used to give everyone sample medicines. Mr. Ramchandran was working with L & T.
