Newspaper Thoran

Hi Friends

Here is the procedure for the newspaper thoran.All you need is newspaper ... newspaper...newspaper....

1. Take a newspaper which has two pages(leaves.)

2. Now we need rectangle strips.Any measurement would go.Mine would be approx 5cm in length.


3.Roll it diagonally till the end of the paper.Roll it firmly as much as you can.

4. Now start folding it from one end to the other end in a circle shape.

5.Prepare quite a few set of this spirals.If you want a big spiral,complete one spiral and start rolling another rectangle strip diagonally and fold the edges on top of the first spiral.So you will get a much bigger spirals.

6.Cut a small square and roll it.This becomes as a string to attach two spirals.Likewise you attach the spirals as per your creativity.Mine is like 4..3..2..

7. For the flower at the end of the strings,take a magazine paper,if it is in red or rose color then it would be more attractive.Roll it loosely.





8. Once u finished rolling,twist it.Same as spirals start folding as a circle shape.Now u got the flower.If u have green paper,cut it as a triangle to get a leaves shape and glue it to the flower.4 or 5 leaves per flower would look nice.
Attach this flower with a paper roll string.






9. Measure the size of your door.Cut the paper accordingly and make it thick.For this the main page of the newspaper would go well.Fold it and attach the string spirals with flowers to this.
