New Year New Voices - Jan 2015 Contest

Dear IL'tes,

Happy New Year!

The good thing about new year is that it gives us a definitive starting point to do something new and interesting. That is why we are bringing this “New Year, New Voices” contest.

Everyone has got something worthwhile to say! And, Indusladies is the best place for you to share what you have got to say. Our community provides plenty of encouragement and support.

The idea of the contest is very simple. We want everyone who has been holding back from participating (<25 posts) to go out and share their thoughts and experiences.

It could be anything - a snippet, a craft, a recipe, a parenting advice, a pregnancy anecdote, a relationship lesson, a beauty routine, a health tip, a home/garden photo or whatever.

The idea is to feel confident that your contribution is valuable to the people around you and to get comfortable sharing it!

Prize?
We are going to find the most friendly and helpful voice that comes out (remember, not the most well-written or even the most informative) and we are going to award a special prize.

How?
- Go to any of the forums, hit “Post New Thread” and Contribute
- Add a link to your contribution in this thread

When?
- Share your contribution before Jan 24th
- Winner and Prize announced on Jan 30th

IL'ite with 25+ posts:
This is your chance to be a "cheerleader" for those getting started in sharing their voices.
You can help in a few ways:
- Tag 5 of your silent IL contacts in this thread and encourage them to express themselves.
- Be sure to provide feedback/acknowledge when new members contribute.

There is happiness in seeing and encouraging others. Your support is going to help bring out a lot of new voices.

Why wait? Go ahead and get started, there are many awaiting to hear those New Voices...

Hello Admin,
This is a good contest. A lovely way to encourage everybody on IL.

Your suggestion of tagging 5 ILites in this thread is also a very good suggestion. But I would like to omit the 'silent' word, becoz, I am not sure whether they are silent or they are busy in some threads which I do not visit.

In any case, I would like to tag the following of my friends.
