New in Gaithersburg

Hi,

I'm Deepthi and I would be moving to Gaithersburg next month. I'm totally new to Gaithersburg, I'm new to the USA also, so to speak and I would like to make some new friends for myself and my daughter.. I am from Kerala, like dancing, worked in IT for 8 years and now am stuck at home on H4

It would be great if you could recommend some good apartments to stay based on your experience. I have a 3yr old daughter; so I'm looking for a safe neighborhood with great schools and of course with Indians close by, if possible. Appreciate any input you might have.

I had been checking on the internet and liked Brighton Village, Jefferson at Orchard Pond & Beacon Place. Anybody on the forum staying in any of these apartments?
