    NEW DAWN

Gone is now the nebulous night.
as in the east, a new dawn breaks
    with warmth touching forests deep,
    snowy peaks and tranquil lakes.

Silver linings, the night too had
with stars and moon dotting the sky.
It was witness to simmering passions
as the moon made tides rise high and high .

The chivalrous breeze had crush with trees
    with fresh romantic launches.
On the land he drew moving patterns
    with silhouettes of swaying branches.

Hues and shades played at dusk
like a giant kaleidoscope on the sky.
Cherish the coos and cries of chirpy birds
as they returned in flocks from the sky.

    Forget the dark moments passed.
But forget not the great deeds of past.
Open the windows to the rays of dawn,
let the Sun light in and forever last.
