Breathe,breathe,breathe. I tell myself as I’m drifting off in sleep. Drowning in a hollow stream, faces of the past emerge from, nowhere it seems. Memories of a bygone era. Times of fun and frolic. Days of glory and thunder, Everything feels so real. I laugh a little as my eyes beam. The flow of water definitely knows, what I must see. A bit of joy, a bit of sorrow and unfulfilled dreams. Coming to the edge I look back, at all that was once me. A light ahead then beckons me, I wake up brushing off this, hallucinating dream. Treading along the path ahead, as yet another new beginning welcomes me.
Interesting! Dreams can sometime make life miserable yet at times give rare insights into life. New beginning is the silver cloud!
Dear Meenu @Scorpio707 , So nice to read you again during this time of the year. If it were up to me, I would be celebrating every day. Hang on a minute, I do celebrate - just that some turn out well and some not so well, as you describe so poetically! I loved the lines I have quoted below. I often try to look back and see all that was me and I am hoping I am always walking towards a better me. New beginnings always assure us that the best is yet to come! Hope to see more of you!
