Posts on narcissistic husband in a forum thread made me go back to review the information on the mythical story....

    From Wiki...
John William Waterhouse (1847–1917) was an English painter who, because of his style and themes, has been classified as a Pre-Raphaelite, but is more accurately described as a Neo-Classical painter. He painted over 200 works, mainly in the genres of classical mythology, and of historical or literary subjects. One of his common themes is the femme fatale, the woman who ensnares a man.[1]

Echo and Narcissus is in the genre of classical mythology. In Ovid's version of the myth, Narcissus was the son of the river god Cephissus and the nymph Liriope. His parents were told that he would live to an old age if he did not look at himself. He rejected all the nymphs and women who fell in love with him. One of these was the nymph Echo, who was so upset by her rejection that she withdrew from life and wasted away until all that was left was a whisper. Her prayers were heard by the goddess Nemesis who caused Narcissus to fall in love with his own reflection. He continued to look at his reflection until he died. A narcissus flower grew on the spot where he died.

Nik..nader..nik -- was the Ultron way of saying Aloha, while the Ultronians do the elbow bump.

That was an old Britcom, with a superhero Thermoman doing superhero work on earth while living as a healthfood store owner George Sunday in a suburb of London called Northolt. He is married to Janet Dawkins, a nurse in the local medical clinic.

    Here, check out one episode:

I couldn't recall the name of the ginger-wasabi grinder that is lost from my kitchen. Years ago, I used it to grate many other things, including a piece of LG brand Asafoetida. No clue where it went!!

With the help of wiki, I have the name; but still no oroshigané.

Everybody is at home now, and there is Corona Virus at large in the population.

There are things people may do at home. Why aren't there threads started to describe what these are ?

There is one thread about what one may teach online -- pretty Covidish thing to do, isn't it ?

People may learn to cook at home, because we don't go to restaurants any more....

Here is a nice baguette recipe you may do at home. And then make some dipping oil (EVOO+balsamic vinegar is the usual thing, but you can vary that theme any which way you want), and serve.

For those who wonder how to make a starter for making sourdough boule, here is a desi tip.
Use a 2 day old Idly batter, and it will go just fine.
