Need suggestions for an effective steam cleaner

Hi,

I see that the carpet in my home needs to be cleaned once again.

However, I do not like to spend too much money hiring a professional helper with this job every time. I was browsing the information about different 'carpet steam cleaners' available in the market but ended up finding some thing that is very expensive and over 300 or so.

Do you have any suggestion about the reliable steam cleaners in the limited budget? If you have been having the carpet steam cleaning experience, I would love to hear about that.
