Need information good and original silk saree shops in Kanchipuram

    Hi Friends,
    My cousin marriage is on Jan. So we are planning to get sarees from Kanchipuram. We came to know that there are lot of shops are there which sell duplicate silk sarees. This is the first time we are going to Kanchipuram. So please help me if you know any good sarees shops in Kanchipuram and also i want to know what r the famous temples in kanchipuram.
    So, please help me friends.
    I need the details ASAP.

    as far as i heard i am telling u

    for purity u can go to Aringnar anna society - but varities will be more if u go for higher end prices...

    i am not sure about purity in this shop but will find more vartities-Babu sha

    Murugan i heard somtimes they are cheating on the purity

    hi sangeetaraj,
    there is shop named seethalakshmi silks opposite saravanabhavan on the theradi veedhi.that is the main road behind the chariot.they do not cheat and we have been their regular customer for the past 15 yrs.when u buy ask for 5 nool thari(thick and heavy) ones instad of 3 nool thari .

    Thanks for he immediate reply.
    Surely i will visit that shop. How about the collections in that shop?
    I have some doubts. whether they have any new design pattern so that we can see the designs and order it. And also whether they will make saree as per our faviourite colors like that.
    Please clarify if u know details regarding this.

    the patterns are tradtional and heavy.they will make according to the colour of ur choice provided u order well in advance.
