    Where is your house in madipakkam?there is a hotel near ponniamman koil known for their catering..

    Hi Aparna,

    We have enquired in Ma's Kitchen but they told they have many functions on that day.
    Enquired in Sri Durga Bhavan, in ponni amman kovil street they are somewhat nominal in cost tastes will also good. we have taken many times for our house from there. They are ready to do on that day but the constarint is they will provde only food we need to arrange for eveythng else like servers etc.
    Enquired in Ambi Caterors-They too have many functions.
    Srichakra need to go in person-- they are not giving detailed explanation in phone.
    Need to go in person i this week end.

    Hi ,
    is there any possibility to make arrangements like persons for serving and other arangements outside ?
    i.e without food anywhere else?

    in our case we served ourselves between the family and friends..these days if it is not a busy day you get two people otherwise you need to transport the food too..

    Yes shanthi they(durga bhavan ) is saying we can arrange for free delivery if it is for more than 50 counts.
    in our case transporation wont be abig problem i think.we need extra 2 persons atleast in the morning.Is that possible to arrange like that anyone from outside? if so whom we have to approach?

    sudha me too planning to ask durga bhavan also.. Will land in chennai by end feb and then do the arrangements..
    My case its just 30 ppl and so serving is not a big problem..

    Sudha, have you finalised on something??
    i contacted few people..(whom shany mentioned).. i think Durga bhavan is working out better... my case as its just for 30 people caterers are not ready to do that small amount...

    Hi.. You can try Sri Vel Catering.. They served recently in my friend's house warming ceremony for breakfast and lunch.. Awesome food.. The varieties and taste was really superb.. You can call them @ 9677041812 / 9677041517..

    My friend's new house was in Chitlapakkam.. Am not sure about the caterers place but when I was speaking with them they told they will do anywhere in Chennai from small to big functions.. All the Best..
