    Hi All

    I have an House warming party tomorrow. They had sent an evite to us which we responded saying "yes" long back. Yesterday, I called few of my common friends and asked them if they are coming for that house warming party. They said that they all received multiple phone calls from the host and they will be joining the party. But the host did not call me after sending the evite. she just sent an evite . Now I am in dilema whether I have to go to the party or not .

    Also, The host joined my housewarming party 1 year ago. I had sent an evite and made calls for everyone. I feel thats the best way to invite others.

    What do u suggest ? Am i thinking wrong ? Should i go or not?

    Not a big deal to me , I don't expect anyone to waste time with all the formalities of calling. Evite is good enough . Be gracious and go to the party .

    Maybe because you responded YES to the Evite,she wouldnat have called again.So dont think so much about this and attend the party.

    What's there to think so much ?? If food and drinks will be served then why care about how's and why's ;) . Leave all the doubts at home and enjoy the party.

    You should attend the party. You have received an evite - and you have responded Yes! No reason not to go. They might have tried calling you or maybe it slipped out of their mind. Thats no reason not to go. Attend the party and have fun.

    I understand your dilemma. But the host may not have called you since you responded positively to the evite. It also depends on the relationship you have with them, may be the host is satisfied with your response to the evite and knows that you will attend. And for others, though they have responded positively she still needs a confirmation from them, hence the phone calls. The act of sending an evite itself suggests that the host wants you there. Go ahead n have fun!

    She wouldn't have called you if she didn't want you there. So go right ahead and mark your presence. Considering your other friends will be there as well, have a jolly good time!
