    Dear IL'ites,

    While most of you are busy preparing for the upcoming Navratri to celebrate the Divine Mother, here's a special contest to celebrate it with your community too.

    Display your "themed" Navratri to your community and WIN!

    Contest date: October 15th to October 23rd, 2012

    Here's how you participate in this contest:

    1. Post a picture (in this thread ONLY) of your Navratri Golu that has a special theme.
    2. Explain briefly in 50-100 words the significance of the theme chosen.

    Top 2 most unique Navratri Golu with an unique theme is sure to bag Special Gifts (worth Rs.500/- each) from Craftsia.com.

    While your setting-up and decorating the Golu in your home, remember this contest and get ready for the same. Good Luck and Happy Navratri!

    Hey I got to know new thing today. I am not from south so hearing about the Navrathri Golu for the first time. I googled it also. I like this custom. It would be fun if I could do this. Anyways ALL THE VERY BEST to all the participants. Waiting to see Golu Pics this year. I love last years pics too. BEST OF LUCK again.

    Navaratri 2012 most expected one for me. This is my second Golu and last year I kept the dolls only for four days and not so many dolls. This year bought some and handmade some. Amarnath is half the way and rishi almost done. very excited. Will post the pic once done.
