    Dancing puppets::: picture 2 (if you have similar puppets, you can fix them like this)

    Viji ma: as you said where there is a will there is a way but also remember that Health is wealth. Hence you can take help of somebody and ask them to come on a sunday and fix it for you. hope the space will not bother your for a couple of days.since oct 2 is a holiday - 3rd is a sunday .waiting for the pictures of this year golu

    I am also going to place the golu first time in my house. Please guide me with every step / vidhi's regarding Navrathri - golu.

    Looking forward for all possible suggestion and guideance.

    very useful thread.
    the padi pdf was superb informative.
    since we dont keep golu at home am jealous of you all.........! i have suggestion.
    that is.....if you want some greenery effect, before 10 days only soak ragi in soil. the container should be big. later, you can seee ragi plant grown in green, you can carefully take out the bottom using knife and place it under where you desire...........!

    Sudha, Viji, Pavi, Nithya wow you guys are really rocking. "Mangayar Malar" has released a supplement this September month giving 64 tips for Golu 2010.

    There is one tip which I am planning to do.. Everytime I find difficult to have mountain (Malai). They have given a idea of using various sizes of MUD POTS by placing it upside down and stick mud to have a mountain effect. Am gonna try this. There are many tips given in the book.
