Dear Sindhu, we went to as many as 5/6 tribes. The Hornbill festival is in December and they were grooming for that !! Foreigners from far and wide do attend this but we were not aware of this otherwise we would have programmed ourselves for that.

The furniture, the show pieces are mostly made out from bamboo and you are right in that !!

Talking of frogs.....oh, I forgot to mention.......one of the road side shops had hung a frog garland for sale......can you guess for what that was ?? They eat those and hunt for those !!

Thanks once again for visiting me in Nagaland !!

Hi Sats..thanks for your lovely feedback.
I am glad that you enjoyed the natural untouched beauty !!

Manas Park.........was a flop since we couldnt see any tigers or elephants or for that matter nothing except 2 wild bulls and a peacock !! How sad isn't it ??

    Dear mam,
One doubt for me ,,Is it the travel time too long, between each places ,since my DD doesn't like much travelling soo long in mountaineous road,?

Dear Sudha, thanks so much for your warm feedback.
The Guwahati to Jorhat journey by road was pretty long which was 6 hours and with stops it will become much more.

Since most of the mountainous roads are bad especially after the rains, travelling becomes tedious but the beauty of the places makes one forget their tiresome journey.

Kohima to Dimapur is quite long too !!
