    Hi Deepthy,

I think majority of places are already pointed by @dnormx01 & @sbonigala.

I love Brindavan Garden , especially the Evenin slots Musical Fountain....you can plan ur visit during evening time accordingly.

Mine would be a day trip always: starting with--

-- Srirangapatna: Ranganathaswamy Temple & Tippu Sultan Samadhi

--Mysore Palace: interior is very :hearteyes::hearteyes:

-- Mysore Zoo : as a child i would run towards Tigers cage & wait for them to come out to pick up thier flesh :facepalm::facepalm: ....later wud watch Giraffe pluck leaves from the near by tree & co-relate it with Theory of Evolution :icon_writing::icon_writing:.....roll towards Chimpanzee {he/ she would stare at my chips packet}....it takes almost 2-3hrs to complete & they have Battery operated vehicles too.

-- St. Philomena's Cathedral, Chamundeshwari Temple & end my day with Brindavan Garden {it's long stroll from park to fountain area.....loads of savouries / chats shop available ....smell of burnt sweet corn hot hot bajji bonda panipuri chats }.

PS: u cn try Maddur Vade after munchin on Mysore Dosa!!!

Happy journey & do update us about ur experience :)

as an ex-infoscion from Mysore - I cannot stop myself from asking you to visit Infosys Mysore - people take so much pride to be working there for the facilities it offers - especially GEC- its called global education center for a reason - its majesty is a must watch - after the sunset with the lights and fountains

Oh dear, your reply made me nostalgic about the Trivandrum zoo, which I visited as a child. Thanks dear for all the suggestions. We are looking forward for the trip. Will surely write about our experiences there.
