I am sorry, I could not make out which flower's name you want to know. I guess it should be either Arali or kozikondai. The single pink colour flower is arali which is in a pot. If you move the curser at the edge of the picture you mind find the name.

There are different vareities of cacti( Sappathi kalli) in Tamil. I do not know the specific name of this plant. Most of the cacti plants have thorns, and this plant also has thorns in the stem. Some ornamental cacti doesn't have thorns. I do not know which part of Chennai you are staying. I am willing to give this plant if you can contact me. In fact I wanted to offer betel plants also for those who are interested for free.
This particular plant needs very little maintenance.

Organic fertiliser is good for plants. Perviously when we were staying in our independant house we used to prepare manure at home. But in the apartment we can't do it. We tried using a liquid growth promoter, but did not find it good. Due to the hot summer this year though plants like brinjal, cucumber are in full bloom they just get dried up without fertilising. We are just keeping them watering, waiting for the rains keeping our fingers crossed. If you can get organic manure from nursery you can use it. For flower plants grondnut oilcake (kadalai pinnakku) is good. We have to soak it in water ver night and then lay it near the root of the plant in the morning.
