    Dear Manaswini,
No need to get jealous. During summer you can grow some plants. Last time when we were in US my DIL wanted my DH to plant few flowering plants, tomatoes and beans. They are at Minneapolis and staying at independant house.. The plants came up nicely.
    Love,
    PS

    Dear Shanthi,
We have kept Henna in a plastic bath tub. The biggest size pot we are having plants around 10 to 12 liters capacity. I'll post the pots soon so that you can suemise the size.Today I plucked henna and made a paste which was enough for both (Malathi and myself)of our hands. We both prefer fresh leaves to powder. If we keep plucking the leaves at least once in a month fresh leaves come out.
We are also planning to go on holiday for a few months and are praying that our plants should be watered properly by the servant.
    Love,
    PS

    Dear Vathsala,
We are experimenting and we found that all the flowering plants could be grown in pots, but we have to do the pruning when they outgrow. Thank you for dropping in,
    Love,

    Dear Shanthi,
I am posting the picture of Henna, Pavaza mallikai and a beautiful cacti which could be hanged in balcony. Hope that it gives you idea of the container used for the plants. If you have big paint containers you could use them also.
    Love,

    Hi Pushpa ma'am,

Its not that it is not allowed here...Its because, we are in an apartment with no balcony and moreover the climate here is too extreme...

There are some friends, who stay in individual houses and they do have small flower plants and curry leaves to an extent...which grows well during the winter now.
Anyway thanx for sharing those beautiful garden of yours with us.

    bye
