Your tea story is just as sweet as sugar. I neither drink tea or coffee..
Your story got reminded of my mom.
None of us drink tea or coffee at home.
So if any guests come, sometimes she even forgets to serve tea/ coffee..
And if any of my aunts or close guests come, they will prepare coffee by themselves

Like they say - the devil is in the detail, cosmic energy for me in in tea :). We all have our own personal life hacks maybe. Flavors, they are far too many these days. I just prefer mine simple and humble.

    Thanks for posting.

Totally agree with you, I'm no less cranky myself when I skip my morning tea which though is a rare occurrence:) .
Did you say tea in a sombu size mug, that's lovely . I add fresh grated ginger to tea sometimes but plain tea is my preference.

Talking about tea reminds me of chooku coffee now :D, I crave for it when it's brutally cold out here. Thanks for your reply, appreciate it.

Never thought from that angle ever, cult - hmmmm interesting. I like jasmine tea offered in the Mandarin restaurants here, it's refreshing after a good meal and leaves you feeling good no doubt.

    Thank you.

Thanks for stopping by here , though tea or coffee is not your thing :). Wouldn't it be nice if guests could cook their own snack or meal as well and not just coffee :roflmao:

    Hi @Scorpio707
Nice to see a post on tea.,
My family's (parents, brother and myself) favorite drink. My husband calls us a tea family:hearteyes:.
In India, it's always Brookbond Redlabel.
    Only leaf, no dust.
After I moved to USA, I like the tetley British blend.
I start the day with a hot cup of tea.

Tea family...hahaha...nice. My favorite has always been Taj Mahal ( Darjeeling ) tea but unfortunately I can't find them in stores here :shakehead: , so I go with 3 roses and it works for me:) .
