My Kid is crying and becoming possesive for me

    SInce last two weeks my 1.5 years daughter is becoming very possesive..She alwaya want me by her side..keeps on crying other wise..play only if I am sitting.Moment I get up she starts crying..What has hapenned to her..why is she behaving like this,

    Is she at home always? Please try to take her to a park and make her mingle with other kids. I have seen kids at daycare are more independent than when they stay at home. If that's not possible, try play dates, parks etc to allow your daughter socialize with other kids.

    I heard that specifically at this age, separation anxiety kicks in. I don't think there is anything to be seriously concerned about. It sounds like a phase which will smoothned out. Don't worry.
