    Even with regular food, if you can manage the calorie intake, you can manage weight gain.

    For example, Intake quantity should be something like this.
    Breakfast: 3 roti / Idli / bread / rice, anything
    Lunch: 2 roti
    Dinner: 1 roti

    Eat on time, eat only home made food, avoid all junk, eat in limited quantity.

    Calculate your calorie intake, there are many apps like healthify n fit something n all, use that n make sure you don't exceed 1000-1500 calories per day, regardless of what you eat. That can help you to not gain.

    hi @ashneys sorry for the late response.. noticed the tag really late..
    I do not have much progress in terms of weight loss :-(
    Since we have just started ttc for baby#2, I am more focused on eating healthy than on losing weight.. well, there are some good days and then some bad days too.. I weigh the same as I did when I joined the thread.. dunno whether it is a good thing or a not-so-good thing :facepalm:
    I wish you all good luck with your weight loss journey.. One thing I realized that it is not just a one time goal but a life long journey to eat healthy and maintain weight.

    9 June wheat parota tea and roaste banana beetroot kootukari,
    2 tbsp rice, raw banana poriyal
    tea and wheat parotta
    fruit salad with banana and apple
    10 June avacado milkshake 1 bread
    cucumber, carrot, walnuts and dates
    2 tbsp rice, beetroot kootukari, drumstick and yogurt
    1/2 wheat parotaa
    veg salad half dosa and tea
    11 June 1 bread and tea
    watermelon
    drumstick, pongal and sambar
    watermelon
    pokora,1 tbsp pongal, peas pulav, guava juice, china grass sweet
    12 June 1 bread, pakora and tea
    watermelon
    peas pulav
    watermelon, walnuts and dates
    dry fruits
    kunafa , kheer, 1 dosa, tea

    Hi lathadivakar,a big hug to you.i know how much pain u are going through.dont worry.i have sailed in the same boat.i underwent ART procedure and now I am a mom of 2 little angels.
    Bcos of stress, medication s,bedrest during procedure make us gain weight.so u are not alone.i ve gained so much of weight at beginning of both pregnancies.i didn't think about weight reduction,I wanted only healthy weight gain.i totally avoided junk.thats all I could do.after delivery I reached my prepregnancy weight within 1 year.
    My weight gain s 17 kg during pregnancy

    My tips
    1.dont stress out.
    2.exercise and diet help us.only during procedure we can stay out of exercise.otherwise atleast walking we have to do
    3.loads of water and good sleep
    4.healthy diet and no junk
    5.ashneys have given good suggestion.i too agree with her.no fancy diet plan is required.just home cooked healthy regular diet itself will help us to reduce weight
    Try and don't worry.weight loss will help you in the process of ART.

    Till now that's it.from Jan till June it's 7 kg.its slow and steady.
    I can't follow diet restrictions completely bcos IAM a fulltfull working mom with 2 kids.so as much as possible I try to manage

    I am sorry for late response.
    I dont add sugar, instead dates , avacado and milk to make it a smoothie.
