My 3 month old son is having mucosy, watery & green color bowl movement from almost a week. I am breast feeding him & there is no change in my diet .We went to see pediatrician & she said she cannot give him any medicine right now. She asked us to wait & watch for some days. I am wondering if you ladies know any remedies for this & also how long does this problem last in infant?
    Thank you.

mvp this cld be foremilk hindmilk imbalance.
just make sure when u breastfeed him, u offer only 1 breast at one feed,so that he empties one side only and gets both foremilk as well as hindmilk.
if u have forceful letdown(OALD) just express some foremilk in towel, and then latch him. that way he will get foremilk plus the much needed hindmilk too.
however u dont really see mucus in stools if its FM HM imbalance
there is a thin chance that ur baby has a bug/infection.....which leads to mucusy poop!
i dont really think there are any homemade remedies for these though.do chk with ur pedi if u continue seeing mucus in his stools.
