Moving to US with 10 year old

Hi,
This might seem to be an odd post. I'm planning to move to Torrance this May with my 11 year old daughter and 8 year old son. I'm worried if my children will be able to adjust to the new life style. My daughter is in 5th nos and she is an above average student. I'm worried if she'll be able to cope up in school there. I hav heard that the children there bully the new students a lot
My daughter is very sensitive and I'm worried she might not like the school there. Please give me an idea about the schooling system and guide me.

Maybe some others in LA area can give you more specific guidance. Children will easily adjust. You don't have to worry.
