Moving to Mississauga Valley Boulevard

Hi, need your valuable inputs please.
finally, we have relocated now to Canada and shifting to a apart in Mississauga valley Boulevard which is exactly 1km from Thornwood peel school.
my kid is in for now 4th grade.
I have now below specific questions.
1)As per peel school site, she is not eligible for bus facility. Any way we could request for this because it may be difficult for us to drop her by walk or car. How to secure school bus now?
2)How to know this school rating/ranking?
3)I heard something on Charter school. Any inputs please?

Btw, is this locality a good choice? Pros and cons please....
