HI My husband has got a job in Jumeirah Lakes Towers - Dubai, We are moving with 10 month old baby, looking for a 1 bhk , He can commute by metro if the residence is bit far. But want to live with Indian community, with Indian groceries shop + eateries. Pls suggest an area where we can get 1bhk - 5000- 6000 AED per month Varsha
Hi Varsha, You could consider discovery gardens, gardens or greens,tecom. There is good indian population there.These places are close to JLT so hubby wont have travel issues.If you want only Indian population then karama or Burdubai. Regards, Van
Thanks a Ton Van Pls suggest one more thing - my hubby is moving on 10 Nov 2013, as of now can he get any PG(paying guest) or any room on sharing basis, any website to search for?? My hubby is getting 10 days accomodation for now, after that he needs to search a sharing accomodation for 4 months, as I will join him after 4 months, then we would take a 1bhk rented accomodation.... Karama or Burdubai is a very good area to live in as it has a lot of indian population. You will feel like you are in India, esp in Burdubai. Don't know if there are any websites to search for, but if he walks around in the area he can find rental ads posted on supermarkets walls etc. He can call those numbers and find out.
Karama is a good place ti live especially if you are new to this place and want an indian community. Has good connectivity n also indian grocery stores...
